Macmillan Cover

WHAT WE ACHIEVED: The brief was to create a modern book cover that incorporated the visual language of vacation, friends, and one-night stands. The goal was to design an eye-catching and sophisticated cover that would attract readers.

HOW WE DID IT:

Design & Character Mapping: I focused on keeping the layout bold, placing the four main characters front and center. Based on the character descriptions in the book, I mapped out their features and trendy outfits.

Color Palette & Typography: To keep the design fresh, I used a bright palette in the foreground and vibrant sand and sea colors for the backgrounds. Clean, smart fonts were selected to maintain a sophisticated look.

MY ROLE: As the art director, I led the design process from conceptualization to final execution. I ensured the cover captured the essence of the book while maintaining a modern and appealing aesthetic.
