Rebrand for Sephora's influencer program, the Sephora Squad
WHAT WE ACHIEVED: In 2018, Sephora Squad started as an influencer program for beauty influencers to form a network within the Sephora brand. It has since evolved into a full-fledged brand of its own, with diverse creators from across the industry. The program not only helps influencers network but also grow their social community, advance their careers, access brand founders, and stay updated with the latest in beauty. They also get to be part of Sephora content and campaigns, creating friendships and memories of a lifetime. The objective was to revise the branding from a young program to reflect the authority that Sephora Squad holds in the industry today.
HOW WE DID IT:
Logo & Visual Identity: The logo was redesigned to transition from feeling young and playful to elevated and established. The different fonts used in the logo represent the diverse creators in the program.
Brand Collateral: I created a new logo, style guide, and brand book for the Sephora Squad program. I also ran all creative direction for Sephora Squad, including mailer design, zine inserts, event backdrops, signage, menus, and a variety of fun merchandise.
Collaborations & Execution: I directed agency partners to develop the microsite, social assets, interactive year-end roundups, and branded events.
MY ROLE: As the creative director, I spearheaded the rebranding effort by creating a new logo, style guide, and brand book. I managed all creative direction for Sephora Squad, including mailer design, zine inserts, event backdrops, signage, menus, and a variety of fun merchandise. Additionally, I directed agency partners to develop the microsite, social assets, interactive year-end roundups, and branded events, ensuring the successful execution of the rebrand.
